eDetailers, PWAs, Confluence documentation (sometimes not sure where, but definitely sure I’ve documented something on pretty much every topic and project), or if you want to know why “Good Times” by Chic isn’t in D major but in E Dorian.

Trained as a nurse, studied bioengineering, decided that controlling bioreactors wasn’t creative enough, and turned the hobby into a career: freelance web developer working alongside designers, then a full-time role in marketing at a biotech company (the degree came in handy here too, since it meant I actually understood the products being sold through the webshop). Second full-time role at an agency producing apps for arts and culture institutions, where I also helped initiate the digital Historical City Archive of Cologne out of the analog rubble. In parallel, over several years, I maintained and developed the Cologne Greens’ website out of conviction.

Philosophy: Code needs context! I want to understand the bigger picture and know what I’m programming for and for whom. I’ve been at RMH for nine years now, a company that stands for exactly that: only when you understand the purpose and goal behind a project do you end up with digital solutions that actually work and convince people.
